An emotional reunion between a soon-to-be bride and groom during their bachelor and bachelorette parties has gone viral.
Copenhagen-based couple Jonas Hansen, 28, and Karla Rosalina, 27, recently celebrated their bachelor and bachelorette parties in the city on the same day. Ahead of the celebration, the engaged pair told their respective friend groups that they'd love to end the night with "one big party together." Their pals said "it wasn’t logistically possible," but actually planned to fulfill their request as a surprise.
The special reunion happened when Hansen and his friends pulled up in a party bus to the apartment Rosalina was at. When the bride-to-be came down and Hansen finally saw her, he was overwhelmed with emotion.
"This is my fiancé when he saw me at our bachelor and bachelorette parties — do you think he'll cry at the wedding? 😂🥹," Rosalina wrote over a clip of Hansen's reaction, which was shared on Instagram. In the viral video, captioned "my sensitive soon-to-be husband," Hansen instantly sheds happy tears and embraces Rosalina.
The group then drove away in the bus to celebrate together at the next party stop.
Speaking to PEOPLE about the sweet moment, Rosalina explains that her fiancé's emotional reaction was a result of both wedding excitement and alcohol.
"I think he was very overwhelmed and moved throughout the whole day that his friends had planned this big arrangement for him. Moved by the fact that the wedding is so soon and then I think when he saw me he just lost it," she says with a laugh. "He is definitely an emotional guy and I love that about him! Also, obviously, he’s had a few."

While Hansen doesn't have much of an opinion about going viral on social media, Rosalina says she's "happy" that everyone appears to adore him.
"Couldn’t agree with them more that he is the cutest," she says.
The video has garnered more than 1.2 million views and about 50,000 likes since being posted on May 31. One comment reads, "Green flags all around 💕 congratulations!" Another Instagram user wrote, "If my husband ain't crying like that I don't want him ❤️."

Rosalina and Hansen are "so excited" to tie the knot on June 20.
Rosalina adds, "Even more after the bachelor and bachelorette where so many of the people attending the wedding were celebrating with us, can really recommend getting together."
