She’s executive producing the film alongside her husband, Prince Harry.
Meghan shared an important piece of advice he used to give her in “tough moments.”
Meghan Markle shared a sweet piece advice she received from her husband, Prince Harry, while speaking in Los Angeles on July 28. The Duchess of Sussex partook in a Q&A session at a screening of the documentary Cookie Queens, which she executive produced with Harry under their Archewell Productions banner.
According to People, Meghan recalled something that Harry told her “ages ago” as she was asked how she deals with “tough moments.”

“I think so much of it, funny enough, I was thinking about something my husband told me ages ago, because we all go through experiences and life is full of surprises,” she said. “But you know, he was a helicopter pilot in the British Army for 10 years. And sometimes on really hard days, we were once, he said, ‘Hey, but my love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening above the storm, the sun’s always shining.’ ”

Meghan continued: “I think when you really zoom out and think, ‘My gosh, how many things have we gone through that have felt hard?’ And then you still get through them.”
“Or how many goals do you think you’re not gonna hit? And then you hit them, and you supersede them.”

Meghan encouraged the audience to persevere, because “no matter what feels insurmountable, there’s just always that sun shining above it.”
Harry, Meghan, and their kids recently vacationed in Portugal, with the duchess sharing several snapshots from their trip on July 23.

“Summer Holiday,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram carousel. Meghan’s slideshow featured photos of Harry and the couple’s two children. In one picture, the four of them enjoyed a day at the beach. Harry, Archie, and Lilibet ran towards the water as Meghan, wearing a backless black one-piece, looked on.
According to Town & Country, the four of them traveled to Melides, which is known as the “Hamptons of Portugal.” The Sussexes have vacationed there for a few years, and in 2024, People reported that the couple purchased a home in Portugal, though it’s not clear where.
