Drew and Jonathan Scott are recalling the wildest times celebrities have slid into their DMs
The twin brothers said they receive messages from A-listers "all the time" during their recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show
The pair have worked with a number of stars on their HGTV show Celebrity IOU, during which they help celebrities give back to someone who has positively impacted their lives
Drew and Jonathan Scott are no strangers to people sliding into their DMs — especially when it comes to celebrities asking for home advice.
During a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the twin brothers, 48, said they frequently receive messages from all kinds of A-listers regarding home renovations or home-related questions, the duo told guest host Andy Cohen in a June 2 clip from the episode.
"Do celebrities ever hit you up in your DMs for help?" Cohen first asks, to which Jonathan says, "Every day." Nodding in agreement, Drew adds, "Oh yeah, all the time."
When Cohen asks if there has been "anybody good" that has reached out, Jonathan recalls the time one legendary singer sent him a message after watching their hit show Property Brothers.
"Well, the one time this happened, I literally had to call my friends immediately," he begins. "Cher dropped into my DMs."
Cohen throws his hands up in the air in shock, prompting Jonathan to continue his tale about the Grammy-winning icon, 80.
"So Cher, she had been watching Property Brothers, and she was yelling at the screen because the homeowners weren't listening to what I was saying," he explains.
Chiming in, Drew then asks the audience, "Have you ever done that? Have you ever watched Property Brothers and you're yelling, 'What are they thinking?' She was doing that."
Continuing their list of stars who have randomly reached out to them in the past, Drew adds, "Serena Williams also was messaging, wanting to do a project." He then gets into another memory about the time one high-profile actor reached out to them before the debut of their show Celebrity IOU.

"When we did Celebrity IOU, Brad Pitt actually randomly just called Jonathan — his cell. He just randomly wanted to come and smash a house with us and just hang. He was like, 'I love what you do, can I just come and demo with you?'"
In response to Cohen asking if Pitt, 62, ended up actually getting his hands dirty with the brothers, Jonathan says, "Yeah, he came on Celebrity IOU. It was amazing. And I know what you're all thinking… Yes, his hair smells nice."
Pitt was the brothers' first guest star on Celebrity IOU when it premiered back in April 2020. The Bullet Train actor joined a star-studded lineup that season, including Michael Bublé, Viola Davis, Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson, and Jeremy Renner.
In Pitt's episode, the actor worked with the brothers to renovate the guesthouse of his longtime friend and makeup artist, Jean Black, who Pitt said was "like family" to him.
At the time, Jonathan recalled what it was like to work with Pitt and revealed how he got along with the crew on the show.

"He wanted everybody to feel like he was spending some time getting to know them," Jonathan said. "And at the very end, he remembered every single person's name on the production crew and on the construction crew. He remembered everybody and wanted to make sure that they knew how grateful he was for what was happening. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word."
Drew also shared one of his personal favorite parts about working on that show: "I love that we're giving people a chance to see these big, big celebrities in a way that they've never been seen before," he added. "It's seeing the emotional side of them, being with people who they've connected with in their life."
