Stefon Diggs Gives Update on Cardi B Relationship After Their Tense Exchange Is Caught on Video

The NFL star downplayed a recent video of him and the rapper arguing

Stefon Diggs says a recent video, in which he and Cardi B argued, is no big deal.

The 32-year-old NFL star was asked about the video in question, which featured him and the 33-year-old rapper looking upset, as well as his relationship status with Cardi, in a video published by TMZ on Wednesday, June 3.

When asked if he and Cardi are "still together," Diggs described her as "beautiful" and said, "That's my child's mother. I love her to death." He then added: "You have to ask her," regarding their relationship status.

Diggs appeared confused by the claim that he and Cardi had an "argument" in video footage shared by a bystander. "What argument? I don't even think that was an argument," he said, noting that he looked calm in the clip.

"It's okay, women get like that sometimes," Diggs said of Cardi.

When asked if he and Cardi are "good," Diggs responded, "Great."

For Cardi's side, the rapper took to social media once the clip of her and Diggs circulated, writing, "Sometimes I forget I'm a celebrity… damn y'all ain't never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?"

The pair welcomed a son together in November 2025, and since the birth, Cardi and Diggs appear to have had an on-and-off again relationship. They've been seen together on several occasions since it was reported they split, but neither has confirmed a reconciliation.

Rumors of a breakup later surfaced around the Super Bowl in February. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the "WAP" rapper had decided "things were getting too heated and complicated."

On Mother's Day, Cardi supported Diggs at his Diggs Deep Foundation wellness event in Washington, D.C, and the pair shared some PDA on the carpet.
